Anthology Of Natick In Massachusetts

Located on a serene 5.5-acre wooded lot 10 miles outside of Boston, in Natick, Mass., Anthology of Natick is an 86-unit luxury assisted living and memory care community designed by The Architectural Team (TAT; Chelsea, Mass.) and developed by CA Ventures (Chicago), a national provider of independent, assisted, and memory care communities.

The 82,000-square-foot community opened in 2023 and offers a continuum of care designed to promote wellness, enhance social engagement, and improve overall quality of life.

Embracing a New England aesthetic

Designed as a welcoming home characterized by an inviting New England aesthetic, the community features a grand foyer, filled with natural light and an inviting entry sequence with visual alignment from front to back, creating open views to the outdoors and a scenic connection between inside and outside.

The architecture reflects the scale and materiality of its surrounding suburban neighborhood, including a brick façade that’s intended to harmonize with downtown. Other materials, such as trellis and stone wall accents, are borrowed from the local context and are a nod to the surrounding neighborhood aesthetic as well, while the building’s massing was held at 38.5 feet to ensure cohesiveness with the adjacent structures.

Inside, the region’s distinctive charm comes to life with an inspired New England farmhouse style characterized by board and batten walls, painted wood ceilings, glass barn doors, and wicker lighting fixtures.

Memory care and outdoor amenity features

Anthology Senior Living’s dedicated Virtue Memory Care Neighborhood includes its own dining room, common area, and walking courtyard with raised garden beds.

Artwork features local landmarks.

Ample outdoor amenity spaces—including restorative natural settings, community gardens, and walking trails—provide residents with inviting places to gather and socialize in. Inside, residents also enjoy a game room, library, arts and crafts room, and theater.

Community residents also have direct access to the adjacent Natick Community Senior Center, which offers activities and programs for Natick-area residents
