Sunrise Senior Living is making progress on Sunrise of McLean Village in McLean, Va., according to the website ffx.com.

The three-story community will include 100 units, including 61 assisted living units and 39 memory care.

Residents will have access to outdoor terraces, a multipurpose bistro, lounges, library, formal dining room, activity room, and theater. Plans also call for a heritage garden, including a private section for residents and a public section open to the surrounding neighborhood, as well as 88 parking spaces.

The project team includes architect Rust Orling Architecture (Alexandria, Va.) and The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company (construction; Norfolk, Va.).


The 89,983-square-foot community is scheduled to open in spring 2023.
