Affordable housing provider Cornerstone of Topeka (Topeka, Kan.) and developer Excel Development Group (Lincoln, Neb.) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open Southern Hills Senior Homes in Topeka, according to a news release.
The $7.2 million affordable senior living community consists of 24 two-bedroom units in 12 duplexes.
Each unit is single-level with a garage, storage space, and a backyard patio, according to a news release by the developer, Excel Development.
