Sagewood, a continuing care retirement community, is expanding its on-site Acacia Health Center with Desert Willow Assisted Living in Phoenix.

Desert Willow is currently under construction offering 44 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes. The two-story assisted living community, designed with a Southwestern architecture, will be available to residents residing at Sagewood and to those who are living outside of the senior community.

Sagewood’s Desert Willow will offer modern floorplans with large windows providing natural light, private bedroom with walk-in closet, open kitchen with refrigerator, individually controlled thermostat, and residential-feel finishes such as ceramic tile and terraces with a color palette and textures reflecting the surrounding Sonoran Desert.

Amenities include formal restaurant-style dining room, fitness area, outdoor patios, secure courtyard, central living room, computer area, a library, chapel, and family areas for private dining.

Desert Willow Assisted Living plans to open in fall 2018. Project partners include Todd & Associates (architect); Spellman Brady & Co. (interior designer); and The Weitz Co. (general contractor).
