Carlisle Senior Living Communities Inc., an affiliate of The D&F Development Group, recently engaged Spellman Brady & Co. (SBC) to create the interior design at Village Walk Senior Living in Patchogue, N.Y.

The goal for the new five-story, 87,700-square-foot, assisted living and memory care community was to find a balance with modern amenities and inviting surroundings.

The community features hospitality-inspired design, lush fabrics, mixed metals and warm woods to the main entry and assisted living floors. The local Long Island, N.Y., scenery and various seascape art help frame the gathering spaces such as the bistro, art studio, theater, internet café, pub, observation deck, and exercise areas.

In addition, SBC made specific memory care selections to foster a soothing, calming environment with the use of soft blue and green finishes with weathered wood tones.
