Developer Integrated Senior Lifestyles (Southlake, Texas) plans to build Watermere on Oak Street, a new senior living community in Roanoke, Va., according to communityimpact.com.

The 55+ community will house 252 units offering independent living, assisted living, short-term care, and memory care. Floor plans will range from one-, two-, and three-bedroom to 2,000-square-foot penthouses.

Amenities will include a pool, community kitchen, lounge space, clubhouse, courtyards, pickleball courts, a salon, and fitness center.

The project, situated on more than 10 acres, is expected to take two years to complete and open in 2027.
