Aegis Living Greenwood opened in Seattle to address the rising demand in high-quality senior living and care.
The five-story, 96-unit community includes assisted living and memory care.
Inspired by the surrounding neighborhood, the 89,000-square-foot community includes Tudor revival architecture with its brickwork, rectangular windows, and curved gables. The design resembles many homes built in the 1920s and 1930s and brings familiarity to current and prospective residents.
The interiors bring together bold colors, dynamic fabrics, and a mix of traditional and modern art.
The main floor is a central gathering space with an array of amenities, from fine dining at the Woodlands restaurant to watching a film at The Miracle Theater. Residents might also grab a drink at the Bog and Fen Pub, enjoy a visit to Swan’s salon, or do morning yoga in the balance studio.
Wellness is central to life at Aegis Living Greenwood, and the community hosts a range of on-site health and wellness programming.
Memory care known as “Life’s Neighborhood” serves as a community within a community with dedicated amenities. Those include a café, record shop, activity room, and terrace.
A vibrant and expansive memory care courtyard boasts a neighborhood setting that resembles a residential street with house fronts and a retired red Thunderbird car.
