Illinois CCRC Poised For Expansion

Clark-Lindsey Village will begin Phase 1 of the project in August.

The first phase of a large expansion of Clark-Lindsey Village, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), is slated to begin in Urbana, Ill., according to an article in The News-Gazette.

Plans include the addition of eight new independent living villas, a three-story apartment building with 38 assisted living and 22 memory care units, and a three-story apartment building with 48 independent living luxury units. Additionally, the community’s existing wellness center will be expanded, while part of the nursing care facility will be demolished with the remaining wing receiving upgrades.

The project is slated to start in August and be completed in 2025.
