Work has begun on The Crossings on the Peninsula in Yorktown, Va. According to the Williamsburg Yorktown Daily, the new 102-unit assisted living and memory care community will offer residents a choice between one-bedroom and studio apartments with a kitchenette.
Situated on 8.3 acres, the project is expected to cost about $16 million to build. There will be a variety of amenities offered including a library, an arts and crafts studio, a beauty/barber shop, restaurant-style dining, an on-site fitness center, pub, walking trails and private courtyards, and more.
The Crossings on the Peninsula will offer assisted living services and there is also a memory care unit, called Harmony Square.
The developer is Smith/Packett Med-Com and the community is owned and operated by Harmony Senior Services.
