National Church Residences (Atlanta) has completed construction on Crossing Pointe, a new affordable senior living community in Union City, Ga., according to a news release from McShane Construction Company (Rosemont, Ill.), the general contractor on the project.
Sharing a campus with the Christian City continuing care retirement community (CCRC), the project comprises a 4-story building on a nearly 4.5-acre site. Units have one-bedroom, one-bathroom floor plans with contemporary kitchens. Amenities include a community club room, fitness studio, and computer center.
The project achieved National Green Building Standard Bronze Certification and incorporates sustainable materials, including Energy Star-rated appliances.
Foley Design (Atlanta) is the architect of record on the project.
