Horizon House, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Seattle, is undergoing a $600 million expansion, according to Seattle Magazine.
The project comprises a new 33-story West Tower housing 202 units, which will replace an existing 50-unit wing. The West Tower is expected to increase the community’s resident population by approximately one-third.
Architecture firm Mithun (Seattle) is the designer on the project, with Andersen Construction (Seattle) serving as design-builder and general contractor.
Construction is slated for completion in 2029.
