The original Nichols Village completed in 2005 in Groveland, Mass., was designed with the idea that it would grow and adapt. The impetus for improved amenities within this new expansion project was to deliver long-lasting benefits for the community and establish it as a desirable destination.

The project, led by architecture firm EGA PC (Newburyport, Mass.), includes adding a theater to the existing great room; replacing an existing small pool with a large pool with a fully accessible ramp; and replacing an existing fitness space with a larger, dedicated fitness room and wellness suite. Additionally, a pub, complete with a bar and dedicated kitchen and outdoor patio, was added.

The resident units have also received modern upgrades including open kitchens with breakfast bar, contemporary finishes, and appliances.
