Wakeland Housing and Development Corporation (lead developer; San Diego) opened Levant Senior Cottages in Linda Vista, Calif., according to a news release.
The affordable senior living community comprises 126 units ranging from 300 to 500 square feet across 18 single-story bungalow-style buildings and two standalone buildings. The residential buildings are connected by a walkway and a large community building.
Amenities include a large outdoor patio, computer lab, kitchen, laundry, and activity spaces. Units are equipped with a refrigerator, electric range and oven, bathroom, and patio or balcony.
Wakeland partnered with the San Diego Housing Commission and San Diego Kind, a nonprofit organization focused on low-income housing solutions for seniors.
