The Mansion Celebrates 50 Years

The Mansion, a rehabilitation and long-term care facility in Sunbury, Pa., is celebrating 50 years of operation. An official commemoration is planned for Oct. 11, 2019, with residents, employees, and community members. Set upon a large hill, the plantation-style mansion-turned-facility opened in 1969 as a convalescent home. Over time, The Mansion evolved into a rehabilitation, nursing, and acute care residence, while maintaining a home-like feel .
