Developer WinnDevelopment (Boston) and Soldier On (Pittsfield, Mass.), a nonprofit housing provider for veterans, has started construction on the $29 million Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans and Seniors Village in West Deptford, N.J., according to yieldpro.com.
The affordable 55+ community for veterans will comprise an 84,720-square-foot building with 84 units, including one- and two-bedroom floor plans.
The 4-story community will also house amenities such as a telehealth space, community room with café and kitchenette, and other communal spaces.
The community is expected to open in fall 2026.
