Environments for Aging magazine has extended the deadline for submitting proposals for educational sessions and presentations for the 2027 Environments for Aging Conference + Expo, which will be held in Charlotte, N.C., April 12-14, 2027.
The deadline for proposals is Thursday, June 18.
Proposals will go through a vigorous review process to set the program for the annual conference, which is focused exclusively on the design of senior living environments. EFA is also seeking healthcare design industry professionals who want to help shape the conference content by participating as jurors in the EFA session review team meeting on July 14. Anyone interested in being a juror can email [email protected] by June 19.
The educational program is driven by industry experts who share case studies, research, best practices, and new approaches throughout the event.
Topics can include, but are not limited to, affordability, new housing models, dining and social spaces, intergenerational communities, sustainability and resiliency, remodels and renovations, adaptive reuse, flexibility and community-based aging in place, and health and wellness.
