Arbor Village Breaks Ground In Pennsylvania

Operator JW Living (Scranton, Pa.), a division of Windsor Healthcare (Norwood, N.J.), is planning a new assisted living community in Smithville, Pa., according to an article in The Press of Atlantic City.

The 112,700-square-foot Arbor Village will include 130 units. Nine units will be designated for residents requiring minimum care and 81 units will be designated for residents requiring standard assisted living services. Forty memory care units are also planned.

Amenities will include a library, movie theater, activity room, bistro, dining room, outdoor kitchen, fitness area, doctor’s suite, salon, and a central courtyard for exercise. A great room with a stone fireplace and a rooftop deck are also planned.
