Operator Immanuel (Omaha, Neb.) is planning to begin construction on a new building at Immanuel Fontenelle, a skilled nursing, long-term care, and memory care community in Omaha.

The new building, which replaces a 44-year-old existing structure on campus, will be home to 96 residents, and feature a homelike neighborhood design. Separate common spaces and family areas, modern dining options, and private rooms will be part of the design.

The project team includes SFCS Architects (architecture and design; Charlotte, Va. and Roanoke, Va.), Hitchcock Landscape Design (landscape architect; Naperville, Ill.), and Weitz (contractor; La Vista, Neb.). Completion is slated for January 2022.
