New York CCRC Plans Expansion Project

Jefferson’s Ferry will add 60 independent living units and a new memory care building.

Jefferson’s Ferry, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in South Setauket, N.Y., is planning a residential and communal space expansion.

Situated on 50 aces, the community plans to add 60 one- and two-bedroom independent living units and a new memory care building, as well as renovate the common areas in its assisted living and healthcare centers. A new health and wellness center, fitness center, bistro, marketplace cafe, and dining options are also planned.

The project team comprises KDA Architects (architecture; Vorhees, N.J.), Merlino Design (interior design) and Greystone Communities (developer; Irving, Texas).
