MorseLife Health Breaks Ground For The Tower At MorseLife

<div><a href="http://www.morselife.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MorseLife Health System</a> has broken ground and started construction on its new luxury independent living residence, The Tower at MorseLife, in West Palm Beach, Fla. </div><div>The 300,000-square-foot, ten-story residence will be built in two phases at a cost of $77.6 million and is scheduled to open in summer 2017.</div><div> </div><div>The Tower at MorseLife is the final building of MorseLife’s four-phase, $150 million capital project funded in part by the nonprofit’s Campaign to Transform MorseLife.

MorseLife Health System has broken ground and started construction on its new luxury independent living residence, The Tower at MorseLife, in West Palm Beach, Fla. 
The 300,000-square-foot, ten-story residence will be built in two phases at a cost of $77.6 million and is scheduled to open in summer 2017.
 
The Tower at MorseLife is the final building of MorseLife’s four-phase, $150 million capital project funded in part by the nonprofit’s Campaign to Transform MorseLife. The previous projects included the Sondra & David S. Mack Pavilion for Short-Term Rehabilitation, which opened in January 2014; renovation of the long-term care residence, the Resnick Pavilion, which was completed in November 2014; and Memory Care Assisted Living, which opened in June 2015.
 
The new build will offer 135 one- and two-bedroom apartments in the first phase of construction, gourmet dining in its restaurant and bistro, a wellness spa, an outdoor pool, and a variety of activities. The second phase of construction calls for a total of 182 apartments, with additional units built .
 
The architect for The Tower at MorseLife is the firm of Perkins Eastman, and the construction company is Whiting-Turner.
