Nonprofit Mercy Housing (Seattle) plans to develop a new affordable senior living community called Holly Senior Housing in Bellingham, Wash., according to The Bellingham Herald.
The project is undergoing permit review with the city and is estimated to cost $10 million. It is proposed as part of an ongoing redevelopment of Bellingham’s Old Town district.
If approved, the 4-story community will house 74 units, including 44 one-bedroom units and 30 studio apartments. Amenities will include a community room with a communal kitchen, fitness room, bike storage, and centralized laundry facilities.
