Oakmont of Whittier, a luxury retirement community located on a 70,000-square-foot property in Los Angeles County, Calif., is approaching completion.
When finished in March, the two-story community, designed by Oakmont Mangement Group, will offer 51 assisted living and 19 memory care apartments in several floor plan options, with features that include 10-foot-high ceilings, crown molding, and oversized, double-paned windows to let natural light in.
The resident apartments will feature either a full kitchen or a kitchenette in both studio and one-bedroom layouts.
Common areas inside the Oakmont of Whittier community will include a bistro for all residents, in addition to resident activity rooms, a luxurious dining room, and a welcoming living room with fireplace. The community will also include a fitness center, massage room, and beauty salon with concierge services.
A demonstration kitchen at Oakmont of Whittier will be operated by a full-time executive chef and supporting kitchen staff. Residents will enjoy meals in a restaurant-inspired environment.
The grand opening is scheduled for April 27.
