Cardiff Orthodox Housing has started construction on an expansion that will triple the size of its senior living community in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif., according to The San Diego Union Tribune.

Owned by Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (Cleveland Heights, Ohio), the 30-unit community will add 61 units across three new elevator-served buildings. Forty of the new units will be one-bedroom floor plans, and 21 will be two-bedroom floor plans. Twelve units will be dedicated to affordable housing.

Additionally, the project will add amenities such as dining areas, lounges, a bocce ball court, and walking path.

The community is managed by Sunrise Management (San Diego), and Wermers Companies (San Diego) is serving as general contractor on the expansion.

Construction is expected to be completed in 2028.
