2026 Environments for Aging Conference + Expo
Among the highlights at the 2026 Environments for Aging Conference + Expo in Phoenix was an expo hall displaying the latest products and services specifically for senior living environments.
During the conference, Environments for Aging’s editors walked the expo hall aisles to explore the array of new offerings, including furniture, casegoods, seating, wallcoverings, textiles, bathroom fixtures, artwork, and flooring.
Here are some of the products that stood out.
Enable Table, Global Furniture

Emerald / EFA
Global Furniture’s Enable Table series features height-adjustable surfaces on each side of the table for people with limited mobility. Applicable for dining and game room settings, the table includes a level surface and rear barrier to prevent items from falling off. The furniture is also designed to accommodate various wheelchair sizes.
Havana and Malibu Outdoor Dining Chairs, H Contract

Emerald / EFA
H Contract modified its line of outdoor dining chairs, including Havana and Malibu styles, for senior living environments. Adjustments include a seat height of approximately 20 inches and a shallower cushion depth to help seniors stand up more easily. Both chairs feature durable aluminum frames, with Malibu offered in a matte coal-colored finish and Havana wrapped in resin wicker.
Upriser, Vital Fjord

Emerald / EFA
The UpRiser by Vital Fjord is a battery-operated, height-adjustable toilet seat lift designed to enhance independence and comfort for individuals with reduced mobility. Featuring an electric lift mechanism, the plug-and-play product requires no installation and fits directly over an existing toilet.
Seville Valve Bar, Pulse Shower & Spas

Emerald / EFA
Pulse Shower & Spas elevates the look of safety grab bars with its Seville Valve Bar. The line installs around any standard preexisting or new shower valve, features ergonomic soft grips on both sides, and has a 300-pound weight capacity. Part of the company’s Aging In Place line, the hardware comes in four finishes: polished stainless steel, brushed stainless steel, matte black, and oil-rubbed bronze.
Butler Electric Closet Rod, Richelieu

Emerald / EFA
From Richelieu, the Butler Electric Closet Rod improves accessibility and promotes greater independence for people in wheelchairs or with limited mobility, without compromising closet space. The unit features an electronic mechanism that brings clothing down to reachable heights. The unit is customizable to fit a variety of closet sizes and comes in remote-control or cable hand-control options.
Fall Impact Absorbing Mat, Magic Shields

Emerald / EFA
Designed to reduce the risk of injuries, Magic Shields’ Fall Impact Absorbing Mats use Coroyawa, a Japanese-engineered material that remains stable underfoot but softens upon impact. The flooring comes in 4-by-6-foot mats that can be placed without adhesives, as well as a wall-to-wall option.
Discovery Doors: Interactive Memory Care Artwork, Creative A

Emerald / EFA
Creative A’s Discovery Doors: Interactive Memory Care Artwork offers a tactile, open-and-explore wall art piece designed for memory care environments. A customizable painted image is segmented into multiple handcrafted, hinged wood panels that when opened reveal engaging, localized fun facts. Residents’ engagement with the artwork can support motor engagement, as well as recognition and storytelling.
Trenton, Shelby Williams

Emerald / EFA
Trenton booth seating from Shelby Williams draws visual inspiration from passenger train cars with features specified for senior living, such as a 3-inch-thick, high-density foam seat. The seating is removable for easy cleanouts, while the upholstery can also be customized and matched to a provided fabric swatch to complement lounge, lobby, and dining spaces.
