Developer National Development (Newtown Lower Falls, Mass.) and owner/operator Epoch Senior Living (Waltham, Mass.) wanted to create a luxury senior living community that reflects the mid-century residential architecture of Lexington, Mass.
Situated on a 17.5-acre campus, the Waterstone of Lexington independent and assisted living community is the result of that vision.
Architecture firm Elkus Manfredi Architects (Boston) reflects the community in the design of the 215,000-square-foot building with elements that while modern, use historic color palates and textures that capture the spirit of this historic community.
When Waterstone of Lexington opens in summer 2022, it will feature 116 independent living and 40 assisted living units. The independent living residences feature one-and two-bedroom units with luxury finishes, open and airy floor plans, walk-in closets, and designer kitchens. Amenities include an indoor heated pool, salon and fitness center, mind and body studio, on-site farm-to-table dining plus an outdoor kitchen and bar, media room and theater.
