The Woodlands At John Knox Village Reaches Construction Milestone

The 111,426-square-foot, seven-story sernior living community is being built on the Green House model of care nad includes 144 private rooms.</p><p>At The Woodlands Green House, 12 residents will share one of 12 self-contained homes and meals and care will be provided by caregivers dedicated to each home. The homes have private rooms and bathrooms with a shared living room, open kitchen, and fireplace.</p>

The Woodlands At John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, Fla., celebrated its construction milestone with a topping out ceremony. The 111,426-square-foot, seven-story sernior living community is being built on the Green House model of care nad includes 144 private rooms.

At The Woodlands Green House, 12 residents will share one of 12 self-contained homes and meals and care will be provided by caregivers dedicated to each home. The homes have private rooms and bathrooms with a shared living room, open kitchen, and fireplace.

The first floor features a multipurpose convocation room, bistro, rehabilitation services, a spa, and an area for training purposes.

Construction is being led by The Weitz Co., the architect is RDG Planning & Design, and the landscape architect is Nanak’s Landscaping Inc. The Village, expected to be completed in 2016, is working closely with Gallo Herbert Architects which is acting as the owner's authorization representative.
