Wellpointe, a Fresno, Calif.-based provider of affordable, boutique-style assisted living and healthcare services, has opened Fresno Guest Home #28 in Fresno, according to a news release.
The community is one of 40 residential communities in Fresno developed by Wellpointe to serve vulnerable seniors, including those who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness.
For Fresno Guest Home #28, a single-family home was expanded to 2,600 square feet and redeveloped to house six private residential units and five private and semiprivate bathrooms.
The project also included expanded living and dining areas, a refreshed kitchen, and a finished outdoor area with drought-tolerant landscaping, an accessible walking path, and sitting areas.
