Friendship Retirement Community will celebrate the grand opening of the Wellington IV, a new independent living apartment building in Roanoke, Va., with a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 19.
The facility features one- and two-bedroom apartments with a variety of open floor plans and each unit features a variety of amenities including washer and dryer, stainless steel appliances, ceiling fans, free WiFi, and more.
Wellington IV residents also have access to Residents’ Center club house with restaurant, bar, heated pool, fitness center, wellness classes, library with internet access, virtual golf simulator, arts & crafts, billiards and ping pong.
The community offers weekly shopping excursions, bus trips, daily activities, educational programs, an on-campus pharmacy and a gift shop with complimentary delivery.
