The Weils will open The David and Freda Robinson Residence in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, this spring.
The $4 million, 18,000-square-foot pavilion offers an alternative for seniors in need of supervised care and assistance with the activities of daily living. The architect, C.C. Hodgson Architectural Group (Cleveland), designed the expansion project with details that emphasize a warm, homelike, and inviting environment to promote a feeling of security and engagement for the residents.
The pavilion has 18 suites, with six suites in each of the three neighborhoods. Each six-suite household has its own family room to provide a space for the residents to socialize and relax while each of the 18 suites features a bedroom, a sitting/living room, a kitchenette, a full bathroom with a shower and washer and dryer. It also includes a multisensory room incorporating special lighting and sounds plus tactile and visual stimulation.
The assisted living memory care community is owned and operated by Montefiore (Beachwood, Ohio).
