Watercrest Senior Living Group has unveiled plans to expand a new senior living memory care development. The proposed Market Street Memory Care Residences in Tampa, Fla., will be 46,000 square feet with 64 units.

Designed by LifeBuilt Architecture, the memory care community will feature a market plaza with central gathering space where residents can take pleasure in fresh flowers, trees, and an active streetscape. Residents enjoying the plaza can stop by the newsstand or post office, browse the art gallery and bakery, and visit the salon and spa.

Market Street Memory Care Residences will include spacious units, abundant natural lighting, internal courtyards with lush gardens, circular walkways, visual cueing and multiple social gathering places.

Walker and Co., the general contractor, plans to break ground on the memory care community this fall.
