Vista Springs (Grand Rapids, Mich.) is moving forward on plans to build a new assisted living facility, called Vista Springs Concord, in Concord Township, Ohio. The provider purchased nearly 9 acres of land to build the community and will now move to receive a setback variance from the township’s board of zoning appeals and site plan approval from the zoning commission.
Plans call for the nearly 85,000-square-foot community to house 94 units, including 70 assisted living units and 24 memory care. Amenities will include a bistro, chapel, healing garden, and a specialized senior fitness and physical rehabilitation area.
Construction is expected to begin in fall 2015.
