United Properties (developer; Minneapolis) held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on Amira Corcoran, a new senior living community in Corcoran, Minn., according to a news release.
The 55+ active adult rental community will house 143 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units in a 4-story building. Amenities will include a club room, arts and crafts studio, golf simulator lounge, and fitness and yoga spaces. An outdoor patio with a pool and hot tub will also be offered.
The community is expected to open in summer 2027.
Momentum Design Group (St. Paul, Minn.) is the project architect; Eagle Building Company (Minneapolis) is the general contractor; and Great Lakes Management (Plymouth, Minn.) will manage the property.
