Tabitha Senior Living (Grand Island, Neb.) broke ground on a new senior living community in Grand Island, according to an article in the Grand Island Independent.

The 200,000-square-foot Tabitha at Prairie Commons will include 81 independent living units, 20 assisted living units, 20 memory care units, 36 skilled nursing beds, and rehabilitation services. The project is part of a mixed-use development that includes the Grand Island Regional Medical Center and Prairie Commons Medical Office Building.

Residents will have access to a bistro café, club lounges, rooftop patios, memory gardens, library, salon, fitness and wellness centers, theater, chapel, and community rooms.

Senior Housing Partners (Roseville, Minn.), the real estate and development division of Presbyterian Homes & Services (St. Paul, Minn.), served as development consultant on the $52 million project.

The community is slated for completion in fall 2022.
