Sunrise Senior Living (McLean, Va.) has completed a new assisted living and memory care community in Newton, Mass.
Design features of the four-story, 85-unit community include wheelchair-accessible units and common rooms, showers modified to fit different assistance devices, and hallways with assistance handrails.
Amenities include a bistro, outdoor park, and underground parking.
The project team comprises JSA Inc. (architect, Portsmouth, N.H.), Erland Construction (construction; Burlington, Mass.), and PWC Companies (general contractor; Washington, D.C.).
