Regional developer and operator Sonata Senior Living (Orlando, Fla.) and real estate investment management firm AEW Capital Management L.P. (Boston) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Sonata East at Viera, a luxury senior living community in the master-planned community of Viera, Fla.
Situated adjacent to the Viera V.A. Outpatient Clinic, the $36.3 million, resort-style community includes 88 independent living units and 30 memory care units.
The independent living community has one- and two-bedroom floorplans, each with its own private balcony or sunroom, upgraded appliances, and washer and dryer. Amenities include multiple dining locales and lounges, a grab-n-go bistro, military-themed wine bar, resort-style heated pool, arts studio, billiards and game room, bocce ball court, off-leash dog park, lakeside pavilion, beauty salon, spa, and wellness/fitness center.
The 30-bed memory care unit comprises two neighborhoods surrounding a secure courtyard.
