A ground blessing was held at the site for The Cottages at Cedar Run, a new community-based residential facility (CBRF) in West Bend, Wis.

Affiliated with the United Church of Christ, the 60-unit memory care CBRF joins Cedar Community, a not-for-profit continuum of care provider.

Plunkett Raysich Architects LLP (PRA; Milwaukee, Wis.) is the architect and interior designer on the project. PRA worked closely with Cedar Community’s leadership and staff to ensure the new facility’s design reflected its focus on resident-directed care.

The Cottages at Cedar Run is the first development on a 160-acre campus, adjacent to Cedar Community’s existing West Bend campus. Additional features include customized interior porches, naturally confining courtyard areas, and a private on-site wastewater and treatment system.
