Site Preparation Begins On Silverado Bellingham

Silverado (Irvine, Calif.) is breaking ground on a new memory care community in Bellingham, Wash. Silverado Bellingham will be a 41,000-square-foot community designed to serve up to 80 residents and is expected to open by the end of 2016.

The project is being constructed on four acres. Design features in the living spaces will include skylights and sunrooms, a coffeehouse-style bistro, beauty salon, country store, and spa. A large outdoor courtyard will have covered patios and walkways.

The project team includes Wattenbarger Architects (Bellevue, Wash.), Cascade Engineering (Grand Rapids, Mich.), and Dawson Construction Inc. (Alaska, Wash.).
