Evergreen Crossing and The Lofts, a new resident-centered Next Generation property for resident-centered senior wellness in Indianapolis is almost ready to open. This is the first project between Mainstreet (Carmel, Ind.) and Heritage Enterprises (Bloomington, Ill.).
The new facility provides transitional care with short-term rehabilitation and therapy services and assisted living care. The 100-bed, 65,602-square-foot Evergreen Crossing and The Lofts features a first floor with 50 private rooms and 10 semi-private rooms focused on short-term therapy rehabilitative needs. The second floor is assisted living at The Lofts, consisting of 30 apartments as well as studios and one-bedroom floor plans.
The project, which represents a total community investment of $13.2 million, includes a cafe, pub, gym, lounge, full-service salon, and an outdoor firepit and fireplace.
Construction started in September 2013 and the property is set to open Oct. 1. The developer and owner is Mainstreet and the property will be operated by Heritage Enterprises.
