Nonprofit development groups Mutual Housing Association of New York (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Nos Quedamos (Bronx, N.Y.) are planning an affordable, mixed-use project in Hunts Point in the Bronx that will include senior living.
The 102,000-square-foot, L-shaped Phoenix Estates II will include 108 studio and one-, two- and three-bedroom units, with 48 units reserved for seniors
The development will also include 7,100 square feet of landscaped yard and 3,700 square feet of street-level community space, which could be used for doctor’s offices, after-school programs, or daycare.
The project team includes RKTB Architects (architect; New York, N.Y.).
