Developer R&M Properties (Palo Alto, Calif.) revised its plans for a new senior living community as part of a mixed-use development in Redwood City, Calif., after concerns were raised with the proposed height of the building, according to The San Mateo Daily Journal.
The new application submitted to the city includes plans for a 21-story senior living community to house 222 residential units, reduced from the previous plans for a 30-story community with 313 units.
If the proposal is approved, units will include independent living, assisted living, and memory care options.
The development, on just over an acre of land, will also include 1,200 square feet of retail space and 95 assisted parking spaces.
