Revera, which owns or operates more than 500 communities across Canada, broke ground on Green Falls Landing, a new retirement community in Regina, Saskatchewan, which is scheduled to open in 2018.

The $75 million project, which will target LEED certification, will be located on seven acres and include 216 units, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.

Green Falls Landing will house several amenities, including a 1,600-square-foot fitness center and yoga area, a spa, an outdoor fitness circuit, planting and gardening areas, an art studio, and a theatre. Dining options will range from a casual breakfast diner to a formal dining room and a pub and bistro.

The campus will include a 25,000-square-foot, publicly-accessible retail plaza accessible to the neighborhood.
