Resort-style Senior Living Community Planned For Texas

Watermark Retirement Communities (Tucson, Ariz.), commercial real estate agency MedCore Partners (Dallas), and The National Realty Group (Houston) are planning a new resort-style senior living community in Georgetown, Texas.

Situated on 13 acres, The Hacienda at Georgetown will be completed in two phases. Phase 1 will include 125 independent living, 80 assisted living, and 20 memory care units with studio, one-, and two-bedroom options. A second phase will add 90 independent living units.

Amenities will include multiple dining venues; a resort-style pool; outdoor restaurant and entertainment pavilion; wellness area with spa, salon, and a fitness center; theater; and meditation garden. The community’s restaurant, bar, salon, and spa will be public facing.

The project team includes Rees Architects (design; Dallas), Studio Six5 (interior design; Austin, Texas), and Pacheco Koch (landscape architecture; Austin).

The 270,000-square-foot project is slated to open in late 2022.
