Thrive Senior Living (Atlanta) announced it will begin construction this summer on a 65,000-square-foot senior living community called Thrive at Jones Farm in Huntsville, Ala.

Thrive Development Partners is working with John Blue Realty (Huntsville, Ala.) to develop the project and Thrive Senior Living will manage the 93-unit property, which is expected to open in 2016.

Design plans call for using warm colors, wood, stone and granite surfaces, and a lodge-like façade. The community will also house a spa, beauty salon, fitness center, doctor's office, and movie theater.

Thrive at Jones Farm will be part of a new planned development called St. James Place, which will also include a two-story building featuring retail and professional space.
