J+J Flooring Group, (Dalton, Ga.), a manufacturer of commercial specified flooring, in collaboration with healthcare designer Sara Marberry, a former executive vice president of The Center for Health Design and author/editor of five books on healthcare design, recently hosted the second annual Senior Living Design Symposium, in Santa Fe, N.M.
The two-day event brought together designers and experts from around the country who specialize in senior living to gather insights into the needs of today’s seniors and future residents who live active, mobile lifestyles.
The results of that discussion, as well as ongoing research by J+J, have been compiled into a new trends report that identifies four major drivers of design taking place in the senior living market, including: contemporary/transitional Interiors; the HGTV effect; naturally neutral; and senior living model evolution.
The free report is available to architects, designers, and those who work in the senior living market and can be downloaded here or a hard copy can be ordered by contacting J+J Flooring Group.
