Plantation Estates To Undergo $138M Expansion

<p><a href="http://www.actsretirement.org/community-locations/nc/plantation-estates-matthews/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Plantation Estates r</a>etirement community (Matthews, N.C.), owned by <a href="http://www.actsretirement.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ACTS Retirement-Life Communities</a> (West Point, Pa.), is embarking on a $138 million expansion project.</p><p>The plans include the addition of 216 units in several buildings for independent living, underground parking, and 40 one-story villas with two-car garages. Villas will feature two bedrooms with a den and two bathrooms.</p>

Plantation Estates retirement community (Matthews, N.C.), owned by ACTS Retirement-Life Communities (West Point, Pa.), is embarking on a $138 million expansion project.

The plans include the addition of 216 units in several buildings for independent living, underground parking, and 40 one-story villas with two-car garages. Villas will feature two bedrooms with a den and two bathrooms.

The community will have new formal and casual dining venues, a fitness center, an assisted living residence with 80 suites, and a new skilled-care center with 100 private rooms will also be offered.

Construction will start in spring 2015.
