Omega Communities, a faith-based senior living developer (Homewood, Ala.), will begin construction this summer on a 415-bed community called Living Waters.

Located near The Villages in Lady Lake, Fla., the new community will include independent living (IL), assisted living (AL), and memory care and will be built on a 30-acre mixed-use parcel in a natural setting.

Phase one will develop 7.5 acres  and include more than 150,000 square feet of high-end residential space, including 145 IL beds, 29 assisted living beds, and 24 Alzheimer's/dementia beds, common areas, and resort-style amenities.  It’s expected to be completed by summer 2017.

The second phase of the development is projected for 2017 and will involve completing the 415 planned units and 35,000 square feet of retail and medical office development. The residential apartments will be offered on a rental basis.

OutsideIn Architecture provided construction drawings for the project, and Greenbrier Senior Living  (Dallas) will manage the project and the community.
