New Senior Living Midrise Set To Break Ground In Los Angeles

The eight-story community, named The Variel, will feature 215 independent living units, 49 assisted living units, 29 memory care units, as well as a variety of amenities.

South Bay Partners Inc., through its joint venture with LAMB Properties LLC will break ground on a new development in Los Angeles.

The Variel, an eight-story Class A senior living midrise, will be comprised of 215 independent living units, 94 assisted living units, and 29 memory care units with secure structured parking.

Amenities will include an indoor therapy pool and spa, wellness gym, yoga studio, several bar/lounge areas, two theaters, conservatory, outdoor garden, dog wash and dog run, art studio, multiple indoor/outdoor dining venues and courtyard areas with seating areas and putting green.

The Variel is expected to open in 2020 and will be managed by West Bay Senior Living.
