Ryan Cos. US Inc., along with Life Care Services, an LCS Co., have joined to co-develop and construct Clarendale of Schererville, a 205,000-square-foot, $40 million senior living community in Schererville, Ind., that will offer independent living, assisted living, and memory care units and services.
Clarendale of Schererville is the third community in the partnership’s efforts to bring hospitality-based senior living communities to the Midwest. Already under construction by the partnership are Clarendale of Algonquin, a 186-unit community in Algonquin, Ill., and Clarendale of Mokena, a 156-unit development in Mokena, Ill.
The senior living community will be constructed on an approximately 9.0-acre site in a location convenient to community amenities and services—from medical facilities to retail centers, among others.
On-site amenities will include a movie theater, crafts room, bistro, pub and billiards room, club room and library, wellness center with a fitness room and full-service salon, living rooms with fireplaces, a vaulted multipurpose room, and a private patio and courtyard.
The community will be managed by Life Care Services and the architect is PFB Architects.
