Maplewood Senior Living recently broke ground on its newest community, Maplewood at Southport, in Southport, Conn.
Surrounded by 10 acres of natural landscape, the 93,000-square-foot assisted living and memory care community will include 98 apartments.
Amenities will include an open display dining room, salon and spa, library, pub and bistro, and more. In addition, Maplewood at Southport will be feature gardens and walking paths for residents to enjoy as part of the total 27 acre land trust plot purchased by Maplewood to develop.
The project team includes Stein Troost Architecture (architect), Milone & McBroom (landscape architect), Landtech (civil engineer), and KBE Building Corp. (construction manager). The project is expected to be completed in 2019.
