The Lodge at Manito, an 39,000 square-foot assisted living and memory care community, is currently under construction in Manito, Ill. An on-site medical clinic will be managed by Mason District Hospital and available to residents at The Lodge.
The $5.5 million project is being developed on eight acres of property by the Mason County Health Department, Manito Healthy Living, and the Prairieland Council .
The Lodge at Manito will serve adults 62 and older who need some help to maintain their independence. It also features a specially designed memory care neighborhood for residents with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia.
There will be 24 assisted living apartments and 24 memory care suites. Each of the private apartments will feature a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating and air conditioning units, and more.
In addition, The Lodge will have a large community room, a private dining room, an outdoor recreation area, library, hair salon, and other amenities.
Gardant Management Solutions will manage the community. Joseph Architectural Group PC designed the community, and construction will be completed by Trotter General Contracting Inc. Atlas Professional Consulting developed the project.
